I have been following Violet Witchel, creator of the viral TikTok “dense bean salad” trend, for years. I remember when she graduated from culinary school, something I toy with doing one day. I’m currently watching her journey to receive a 10/10 from @ratemychives on TikTok for perfectly sliced chives (her high score is a 7.3 right now). And of course I remember the origins of her dense bean salad series years ago.
